The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsFor Christmas, my husband got all our kitchen knives sharpened.
He picked them up yesterday from the knife store.
Last night, we both cut ourselves while making dinner.

(6,675 posts)Thanks giving and you could get those done while you shopped. Then they stopped. I sure miss it. Now my husband has bought me a knife sharpener but I sure miss getting my scissors done.

I've had them most of my adult life, and I'm quite attached to them.
They are back to factory condition!!
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
