5. Here in Albuquerque this last October we had our first freeze and snow storm. I had gone out

shopping and when I returned in the warmth of midday and parked I was surprised to find that
the large icicles that had formed on our second-story eaves were dropping to the sidewalk below. I was very
careful not to use the sidewalk! Moral: You don't have to leave home to be at risk!

6. I went to Chicago for NYE one year

and they have "Beware of falling ice" signs everywhere.
