I'm reminiscing about the old days of DU..... back before Twitter, iPhones and Facebook existed.

Starter for one:

Anyone else remember back in 2003 when we invented the election integrity movement here?

It was kinda cool when CISA Chief Chris Krebs said after this latest election (and after he was sacked) that the job is not finished, and won't be finished until there are no more paperless voting machines in the U.S. I really hope that happens before 2022. Might be tricky.... but I think it could help.

Personally I think there is a pretty direct line between back then and the GA triumph of last week.

Since it got so heated(and nasty re: Bernie), I did not post for several years but followed every day.
What was happening during that time is chicken feed compared to the mess we are in today.
I missed those whose posts I followed in the old DU days.
I've been back for a while now with the most awful thoughts about tRump and the whole Republican party. I follow daily as most of us do.
I defer to those with more knowledge than I. My blood boils every time I see the face or hear comments about this idiot in the White House.

5 More days! I should be excited but I am afraid. What kind of a country have we now?
Too many idiots with nothing better to do but support tRump and his crooked minions.
Sad times for all of us.

Go Joe and Kamala, my thoughts are with you.

i had a website, pinkobuttons.com.
i tried to run google ads, and got rejected. back then they didnt take ads for sites political content.
as i looked into it, i found a post here from someone w the same issue.
been here ever since.

a lot of things i read here ended up on buttons. ie- paper ballots not vapor ballots. and- no black box voting.

still got a way to go, but it sure is interesting what happens when ppl vote on paper.

I was so disgusted with the Bush/Cheney administration; I had no idea that the GOP could be any viler than that. Boy, was I naive.
