(114,465 posts)of straight up singing that exists,IMO. No special effects on the vocals, just pure talent. He masters the highs, the lows, and the dynamics - and he made it seem effortless.

(5,126 posts)After just seeing a pared back version and hearing Hatfield's vocals, I wondered how his would sound without the extra drama in the music kind of competing with his voice. If that makes any sense.
I get frustrated sometimes when music drowns out vocals anyway. Just a pet peeve of mine.

Did you know that the Righteous brothers were so named by an old African-American man after a performance one night in their early days - he said 'that was righteous brothers' amd their name was born!
