(112,088 posts)I didn't realize how many drinks I used to make Bailey's Irish Cream.
I've been going with the butter flavors this week. Buttershots on my schnapps, butterscotch candy, and butter rum Life Savers.
Ive had an ice creamy nipple and a honey nipple, though...

(112,088 posts)I usually mix it in a jigger glass as a shooter, but the flavor can be savored also.

(16,336 posts)vodka and tonic here. Love the G & T over almost anything, but find it kind of weather specific. Having a cool spell here in SoCal, so V & T it is. Cheers all....Biden is President and he's kicking ass....

(7,603 posts)My grandmother used to visit our family and she would make us both a gin and tonic when we played Scrabble. I was eleven or twelve.
Had sangria with dinner tonight with a bit afterward. Will open a new bottle of rum Sunday evening.
It's so good to have Joe Biden as President. I realized the other day that I have been angry every day for over four years. I'm adjusting nicely.

(115,661 posts)I'm partial to Tanqueray or Death's Door gin with Fever Tree tonic, but almost anything will do (except for Phillips gin, which tastes like turpentine). Except that it's winter, and I just can't do G&T when there's a -8 wind chill. I did manage to get a good, very happy buzz off a half-bottle of Prosecco on Wednesday - a glorious day indeed.

(115,661 posts)And Death's Door, which is made in Wisconsin of all places, is quite good. I've never heard of artisanal tonic water, but I suppose anything can be artisanal.

It is a curious fact, and one to which no one knows quite how much importance to attach, that something like 85% of all known worlds in the Galaxy, be they primitive or highly advanced, have invented a drink called jynnan tonnyx, or gee-N'N-T'N-ix, or jinond-o-nicks, or any one of a thousand or more variations on the same phonetic theme. The drinks themselves are not the same, and vary between the Sivolvian 'chinanto/mnigs' which is ordinary water served at slightly above room temperature, and the Gagrakackan 'tzjin-anthony-ks' which kill cows at a hundred paces
Cheers!
