Definitely been up there many dozens of times myself ... it's freaking amazing. Esp. when it's clear enough to see the GGB too ...

Cheapskate Hill, and the Oakland/Berkeley foothills have far better views than SF.
USC girl, who adulted up north. Lot of Stanford and Cal Games with SF as our weekend playground. Used to walk in the hills behind Stanford when I worked for Syntex/Roche in Palo Alto. On a clear day, from the ridge leading to The Big Dish and Little Dish, you could see the San Mateo Bridge, The TransAmerica Pyramid, and the whole Bay. Hands down one of the most beautiful areas in the nation. ![]() |
