(17,339 posts)I've also discovered actual cab rides on the TGV's all the way from Lyon Part Dieu to Marseille St Charles. That gets a little tedious as the video is just under two hours long.

(53,998 posts)the one where the husband/novio is picking up his wife/novia and her yellow skirt's flying up. It's a cute, sexy, frozen moment that captures the romance of trains. I took the train from Houstong to El Paso, LA, and San Jose a couple of years ago and just loved it. It took a day longer than the bus and cost a $100 more. But I really loved it and got to feel how big and beautiful this country is.
