My favorite song changes from day to day, ( sometimes hour by hour ) but I really haven't listened to any of the new music since around 2017, 2018, so my knowledge of what's new is pretty limited, but I do LOVE Rihanna:
Whether it's old, new, or just a long list doesn't matter. What I'm hoping to learn is what the new stuff is that folks are listening to, but anything good will be deeply appreciated.
*This is an addendum to "What's your favorite song of all time?":

His taste in music was more eclectic than almost anyone I've ever known. He loved everyone from The Beatles, to Sinatra, to Imagine Dragons, to classical.
She adopted him from Napal when he was six months old and he never showed one red flag of any problems. He was the perfect kid. My friend and her wife and all of his extended family and friends are in shock. I'm still just stunned. I'm been listening to this a lot lately:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (27 January 1756 5 December 1791) was a prolific and influential composer of the classical era.
Born in Salzburg, Mozart showed prodigious ability from his earliest childhood. Already competent on keyboard and violin, he composed from the age of five and performed before European royalty. Mozart was engaged as a musician at the Salzburg court, but grew restless and traveled in search of a better position. While visiting Vienna in 1781, he was dismissed from his Salzburg position. He chose to stay in the capital, where he achieved fame but little financial security. During his final years in Vienna, he composed many of his best-known symphonies, concertos, and operas, and portions of the Requiem, which was largely unfinished at the time of his early death at the age of 35. The circumstances of his early death have been much mythologized.

In my opinion, no musical education is ever complete until you've listened to each one of these musical pieces.

Just the Way It Is (A Tribute to 2Pac) - Kayzure Sakar
FROM: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tupac_Shakur
Tupac Amaru Shakur (/ˈtuːpɑːk ʃəˈkʊər/ TOO-pahk shə-KOOR; born Lesane Parish Crooks, June 16, 1971 September 13, 1996), better known by his stage name 2Pac and by his alias Makaveli, was an American rapper and actor. He is considered by many to be one of the most influential rappers of all time. Much of Shakur's work has been noted for addressing contemporary social issues that plagued inner cities, and he is considered a symbol of resistance and activism against inequality.
Shakur was born in Manhattan, a borough of New York City, but relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1988. He moved to Los Angeles in 1993 to further pursue his music career. By the time he released his debut album 2Pacalypse Now in 1991, he had become a central figure in West Coast hip hop, introducing social issues in the genre at a time when gangsta rap was dominant in the mainstream. Shakur achieved further critical and commercial success with his follow-up albums Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z... (1993) and Me Against the World (1995).
Shakur became heavily involved in the growing East CoastWest Coast hip hop rivalry between 1995 and 1996. His double-disc album All Eyez on Me (1996) became certified Diamond by the RIAA. On September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot four times by an unknown assailant in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas; he died six days later and the gunman was never captured. The Notorious B.I.G., Shakur's friend turned rival, was at first considered a suspect, but was also murdered in another drive-by shooting six months later. Five more albums have been released since his death, all of which have been certified platinum in the United States.
Shakur is one of the best-selling music artists of all time having sold over 75 million records worldwide. In 2002, he was inducted into the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame. In 2017, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. Rolling Stone named Shakur in its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Outside music, Shakur also gained considerable success as an actor, with his starring roles as Bishop in Juice (1992), Lucky in Poetic Justice (1993) where he starred alongside Janet Jackson, Ezekiel in Gridlock'd (1997), and Jake in Gang Related (1997), all garnering praise from critics.

As part of 60's group The Animals, Eric Burdon sang lead on the #1 hit "The House Of The Rising Sun" and thirteen other Top 40 tunes. In 1970, he left the Animals and recorded "Spill The Wine" with War, a Latin band from Long Beach, CA who backed him until 1971. Producer Jerry Goldstein had seen the band at a gig in Hollywood and became enamored of their distinctive sound. The original members were Howard Scott, Lee Oskar, Lonnie Jordon, Charles Miller, Thomas Allen, Morris Dickerson and Harold Brown and all shared lead vocals. After the success of "Spill The Wine", Eric left and the band soldiered on to spread their message of brotherhood and harmony and spoke out against social inequalities and gangs. "Slippin' Into Darkness" was issued in 1973 and became a #16 hit and then "The World Is A Ghetto" peaked at #7 in early 1973. "The Cisco Kid" single peaked at #2 for two weeks, becoming their most popular single ever. "Why Can't We Be Friends" LP was issued in 1975 and held two top 10 singles, the title track and second single "Low Rider" both peaked at #7, but then "Low Rider" did one better by taking the #1 spot on the R&B chart for one week. Howard explained that the song came about from the low rider culture, "We went to school with all the low riders and it seemed like a natural thing to write a song about the low riders". During the 50's and 60's, young Chicanos created a car style that expressed the pride and playfulness of the Mexican American culture by installing hydraulics that lowered the car's body closer to the ground and also allowed the car to bounce up and down. The style reached its peak in the mid 70's and became a symbol of Mexican/American pride, the cars decorated with rims with spinners, superior paint jobs, custom interiors with specialized steering wheels made of chain and extensive paint details. At the jam session Charles Miller began singing about low riders and the band found a groove and played it until they felt it was solid, then edited the song. The band finished the song and added the horn line creating a classic 70's tune that has transcended the years.

MX Prime previously Maximus Dan (born Edghill Thomas, 1979, Carenage, Trinidad and Tobago) is a soca / dancehall musician. He is also known by his former stage name Maga Dan.
After working with Jamaican producer Danny Browne between 1997 and 2000, and releasing dancehall and reggae influenced music, Maximus Dan moved in the direction of soca and has developed his own style. His biggest hit single to date was "Fighter", which was made for the Soca Warriors (the Trinidad and Tobago national football team) in 2006. "Fighter" became the rallying song for the first ever appearance by Trinidad and Tobago in the FIFA World Cup finals in Germany.
His song "Love Generation" is featured on the Cricket 07 game by EA Sports for the PC and PlayStation.

Earthquake In Trinidad | Lyrical Bonanza For Songs In 2019
August 22, 2018 By Sokah2Soca
Earthquake, building shake and we have lift off of Calypso and Soca songs for Carnival 2019 in Trinidad and Tobago. This event that took place in along the Northern coast of Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada will be felt for Carnival 2019 more so because we were fortunate not to report any casualties.
An earthquake of this magnitude usually takes a toll on life but fortunately that is not the case for this event. One event (caught on video) is that one of the islands off the coast of Trinidad needs to be re-mapped because a chunk of it broke off and disappeared in the ocean. There is much for the people's reporters/narrators of our history to pen and bring to life.
The fear is over (for now) but Calypsonians and Soca singers may already have lines for songs written with the following key words/phrases in play: Building Shake (oops that was already done by Maximius Dan in 2005) so let's choose some other words/phrases... Earthquake; Island Tremble; De Whole Place Shake; Shake De Ground; Cars Jumping, Jumping; Buildings Crumbling...
