Have any of you guys tried the Ari Melber approach of shaving once a week or so?

It's tempting as long as you can pass it off as "cool" rather than unkempt.

It can't be passed off as cool; it makes you look like you live under a bridge and drink cheap wine from a paper bag. Grow a beard or shave; there's no middle ground. Of course, if you're not going anywhere and not even doing Zoom meetings it doesn't matter and you can be as unkempt as you want.

I shave my face as well as my head every day. And the way my hair grows I would look like a Chia pet after about 3 days. Hard pass.

3. Yep - issue is when you combine it with a covid hair length...well...it's a look.

I think I'm 13 months out from my last haircut. Not gonna let my better half hack at it...I've seen our kids when they were younger. Not gonna go out for it because it doesn't fall into the "it's worth risking my life for" category. So...it's back to HS length.

Add to that 6-7 days growth and I'm surprised she isn't making me sleep in the garage.

But, I realize that I'm at that point in life where there's absolutely nothing I can do that passes off as "cool" so I don't worry about it.

13. every second not shaving

is a second it's growing back. i go anywhere from a week to 3 depending. like i give a fuck, i'm 52, my hair is shaved sides and the rest reaches mid back, haven't had a full hair cut in at least 2 years. if i was on tv, making serious cash, i might do it more often but at this point, i got better things to do.

Before I go to the grocery store. My hair is going for the Einstein look, and I am fine with it. I don't have to worry about being kissed, that sailed in 1976 or 77. I know it is time to bathe when my dog avoids me. But, think of all the hot water I have saved! I should get an environmental award. This isolation thing is not all bad!

He's a handsome guy but I'm not a fan of the unkept look. Just my opinion obviously.
