predicting when a patient would pass. At the time, I really couldn't quite believe it. And then this cat just walked into my brother's room and spent an hour or so sitting on the end of my brother's bed the day before he died. My brother died on Easter Sunday (April 8, 2012).

For the most part, empathetic and kind. I can't tell you how many times I've wrapped my arms around one of my guys' necks, and cried into their mane. Breathing in that sweet horsie scent of warm fur. They have a very calming presence. And then they look for cookies in my pockets!

I'm kind of amazed that a stallion would be this cooperative. He looks like a very sweet boy, who enjoys his job.

And can volunteer with her horse camp. Just my damn knee, and I lost my touch with the reins.

Maybe a miniature horse. I do think of that. Thanks for your suggestion.
