I guess I will try watching it again, but I was not impressed at the first few episodes.

Then again, I could never get past the first two episodes of the Office, so I guess sitcoms are just not meant for me.

I have a couple of hours to myself later in the evening for personal viewing, but I usually prefer something a little soapier. I just finished "Greenleaf" which I loved, and before that I watched all 13 seasons of the Canadian family drama "Heartland". My daughter had recommended "The Knick" but I found myself strangely unmoved. I had liked "Sweet Magnolias" but it ended on a cliffhanger with nary a sign of a second season. Soooo...last night while casting about I found myself watching the very first episode of "Upstairs, Downstairs" from 1971. Really? I actually LIKED that back in the day? My God, there was a lot of overacting....

Any suggestions? I don't like crime shows at that hour. Some of the other things I've binged earlier this year were foreign series including "Shtisel" from Israel and "Ekaterina" and "Ancestral Land" (quite possibly my favorite) from Russia.

They each come with such distinct personalities & it helps to know how they arrived at Schitts Creek in the 1st place.

Love it
