I so wanted to like Walker (yes, the new Texas Ranger)

Not because of the old one (because fuck Chuck Norris) - just for the Supernatural guy and the guy from Burn Notice.

It's just bad. 2 episodes in and I hate everyone in Walker's family. They are all assholes except maybe his son.
It doesn't help that Walker is just the stupidestly written character I've seen in a while.
And there's no karate.

The only thing that could make this worse is if Chuck Norris makes a cameo appearance.


On the other hand, Mr. Mayor with Ted Danson is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

but it's on my list. We have seen every episode of The Closer multiple times. We love us some Brenda Leigh Johnson.

The Burn Notice guy in Walker is Jesse who came later in the series.

The wire is very well made and take their time growing the characters. Got thru two seasons now back into not quite so intense Closure.

So, one I really like and anticipating the next groups of episode is Lucifer. I have not heard anyone watching that one. Cheesy, but can be profound.

We have not watched the last season and I think it's because if we do then we know there's no more Lucifer.

My daughter will watch it regardless - She LOVED Supernatural and she loved Jesse on Burn Notice and she loves horses so she's in. I just wanted to like it because I know I'll have to watch it lol.

If your son has any say in it, ask him to tell them lighten up on Walker. The way his family treats him makes me mad! I know they have to set up drama but it's just about unbearable.


It does kinda make me want to get a hat though.
