The first three episodes were excruciating. The two since have been quite interesting. So if you dropped it, pick it up again with episode 4.

An actor who has history with the character, but not the one you would have expected.

a big integration with the X characters as well as the FF. Now they own everything but the Sony Spider characters and, sadly, distribution rights on anything with Hulk in the title -- which is why Mark Ruffalo hasn't had a stand alone movie. Of course it works out for them in the long run because it forces them to keep all the characters & storylines more integrated across the movie series.

I think they think they've maxed out their cinema cost-to-revenue bite with three blockbusters a year. They build up audience anticipation without watering down the spectacularness of each new release. I think that (along with Disney prodding) is why they're moving to TV shows. They're releasing 2-3 TV shows per year on Disney Plus, but each series is 8 episodes running 40 minutes of story time each (if syndicated, that'd be an hour of TV with a LOT of commercial time). That's the equivalent of three regular or two blockbuster movies.

This is an industry juggernaut. I think the Department of Justice should break them up as monopolistic. Maybe.

Disney now owns Fox, which I think gives them access to the X-Men and the Fantastic Four. So they’re going to integrate them somehow.

I’m guessing it happens with the second Dr. Strange movie, which we know involves the multiverse and characters from other dimensions. But they could also do it with either Kang or the Beyonder as a villain in an Avengers movie. I’m sure there are also other options that haven’t occurred to me.

...in the actual books still makes my blood boil. But then, Marvel clearly decided long ago that it didn't give a damn about their old fans--1960, in my case; *before* FF #1. So I decided that I was just spending a little too much money on comic books...just take out and re-read my Lee-Kirby stuff every once in awhile...
