I love when you offer the dog a treat

They sit then sniff the treat then hesitate in taking it. It’s like I’m not sure if this is worthy of me. Eventually taking the snack.

TEB - Holding treat saying to the nine month old pup what’s the hold up pup. I saw you eating rabbit shit on our walk this morning. So now you have standards you little furry shit head.

Treat from anyone she doesn’t know. But, if the stranger then hands it to me, she’ll happily take it!

When Jay calls him, he usually comes, even when barking at the neighbors or their little dog. When I call and he's doing that, he ignores me. So, getting really tired of him barking non-stop at the neighbors new pup, I decided things had to change. I now call him when he's barking and if he comes right away, he gets a treat. Husband says I'm spoiling him, but he comes to me much better now and the annoyance level of myself and the neighbors has gone way down. I also don't give him a treat every time, only if he stops barking and comes to me. It's working and all of us, including the neighbors, are happier.
