(3,546 posts)I just think its beautiful on its simplicity, and I wanted more people to hear it. Here you go.

(3,546 posts)Knox was an independent artist from New Zealand who popped up about twenty years ago. This song impacted me, in part, because its a love song written to a specific and real person, and it showed a great emotional honesty. Pretty much the same reasons that John Lennon is one of my favorite love singers.

(29,731 posts)But, it seems like I never hear anything other than "I Ran" on the 80s station.
MustLoveBeagles
(16,402 posts)I didn't discover Space Age Love Song until my late teens. It was in a John Hughes movie called Career Opportunities starring a young Jennifer Connelly that came out in 91. It's been ages since I've seen it.

Clash City Rocker
(3,546 posts)This song has been covered by a number of artists, including Chantal Kreviazuk, Bonnie Raitt, and Linda Ronstadt, but my favorite is still Randys original version. No one quite gets to the heart like him.
This was the first song my wife and I danced to at our wedding.
