Deeply touched by the hearts.
Thank you. The heart-giving fundraiser is my favorite fundraiser of the year, and it's an ingenious idea and it epitomizes the spirit of Democratic Underground and our party. For me it has also always been a time to reflect on how appreciative I am of this place and the people here. I learn so much here. It is also a place to express our collective hurt, despair, outrage but also our optimism, hope, and belief in the truth, facts, justice and the promise of our country.
I'm very touched and I promise to pay the hearts forward.
