I never thought about what octopi eat, but I wouldn't have thought they eat crabs.

It took a me some time to get used to it. Some sources say "octopi" is acceptable because of its popular use. They are intelligent, fascinating creatures. Netflix is showing "My Octopus Teacher." It's pretty wonderful.

auto-correct, so I went with it. Now that I look again, though, it also says "octopuses." Thanks for the correction. I'll have to check out that movie on Netflix.

The plural of the Greek word would be octopodes, not octopi, but we use the English plural form instead.
