I noticed today that now I've got a mask tan.
Since covid lockdowns and work-from-home started back in March I mostly only leave our yard/property to exercise -- which is usually in the morning so even when the sun is up it is low intensity because it is nearish to the horizon, so no effect from the mask. I switched to midday exercise a couple of weeks ago and *snap* now I've got darker patches in front of my ears (or more-dorsal cheek region, or above the angle of my jaw, I dunno, somebody else name it) with faint pale lines above and below...
I don't care, especially, I was just a little surprised that after months and months of wearing a mask every spring/summer/fall morning with no effect it just took two weeks of winter mid-days to get a noticable reaction.

Bet the mask tan looks like a reverse five o'clock shadow. Very cool.
