Works much better visually, I think.

When i say "... and say ow, ouch, and oy vey", I usually just get blank stares. Takes too long for people to figure it out so the timing is off.

You know, it only just occurred to me that I could slap my forehead three times as I say the punchline. Which itself justifies a head slap LOL....
