I was just an eensie teensie bit off on my snowfall estimate. I guessed around 4", give or take.

I even measured with a yardstick at about 6, this morning, on the sidewalk in front of the house.

Then I went out to clear the driveway. Turns out it was more like NINE INCHES, and that's not counting the drifting.

The bad news is, it's 9" of dreaded snow. The GOOD news is, my new snowblower handled it, just fine. My old one would never have made it.

I need a shower.

15 miles west of Tawas City. I thought it looked like maybe 2in didn’t get the machine out...it was about 3in.

Can’t complain about anything my BIL lives in Dallas. House isn’t done from getting hit from a tornado that cruised thru last year. Living most of the time in his car.
It’s colder there than here.

I'm glad I don't have anywhere I need to be, this week. I'll probably be spending a couple of days disassembling whatever blockade they leave behind. One year it froze into solid ice before I could get to it. Removing it involved an axe and a REALLY GRUMPY attitude.
