(26,257 posts)I watch the Wild Earth safari drives and have seen a whole lot of what kind of damage lions can do with their teeth and claws.
snowball left a few serious scratches last time i took her to the vet. thay lions claw is as long as her leg.

(26,257 posts)MASSIVE!! We've watched them dispatch huge cape buffalo. They just jump on, sink in those claws and teeth, and ride the buffalo to death. Well, they actually start consuming it, as soon as the buffalo is on the ground.
One day one of the guides left the vehicle to look at some tracks, not realizing there was a pride of lions just down the trail. He did look, first, but they were very well hidden. His reaction was priceless. Skip to the 1:19 mark on the video.
