Sea Monkeys!

Everybody wants one! Takes me back. Superman comic book ads.

These were actually brine shrimp, only about 1/4" long as I recall. Oh the scams that we kids fell for!

My uncle gave her a “muscle relaxer”

We came home and she was sitting on the couch vibrating her neck with about a nine inch column of pink plastic with a tapered end. 😱😳🥴😵

She was sooooooo angry when we told her what it was. I don’t think she really spoke to him again.

Humans need more brains!
(sayeth I, as I kill them with a strong Friday night gin cocktail)

and yes, those ads got my attention in the day, but thankfully did not have the funds to procure said biological marvels.

not into indulging us like that. I didn't make enough allowance to buy them myself. I sort of believed they coulld be real when i was younger. Sort of.

Wonder where in the heck the film could have been developed. Probably would've been another $2 to develop it and get some prints, if you could afford the postage.
