These were actually brine shrimp, only about 1/4" long as I recall. Oh the scams that we kids fell for!

She was sooooooo angry when we told her what it was. I don’t think she really spoke to him again.

and yes, those ads got my attention in the day, but thankfully did not have the funds to procure said biological marvels.

4. I sent away for one of those when I was a kid.

Thought it was so cool! Disappointed they were so small.
