I have to say, though, that I'd expect that Skinner hit his "20th year" several weeks ago.

And yes, funny thing about Skinner -- when we created DU and launched it on January 20, 2001, the discussion forum was a last minute addition which we didn't really give a lot of thought to at the time. As such, we didn't actually create discussion forum accounts ourselves until about a month after launch, when we realized that we should probably participate in what was becoming the most visited portion of the site.
When Elad automagically fixed the join dates of people who joined between 2001 and mid-2003 recently, it looks like he reset my join date to January 20, 2001. But Skinner's is still set to his actual (approximate) join date -- this would likely have been (roughly) the same day that I created my account too.

Taught in practical lessons every day.

I wish someone had taken the time to teach me to use scissors properly. Now *I* am trying to teach this to preschoolers and I am not doing well.
