Edited to add description:
Residents of the Canadian province of Alberta noticed an amazing fireball in the night sky. At 6:23 am on February 22, a large meteor flew over the city of Edmonton, and this moment was captured by surveillance cameras. The meteor has also been spotted in Calgary and Saskatoon, as well as in northeastern British Columbia.

I hope its composition is another Muoinionalusta. Those things are the coolest meteorites to behold.

(54,326 posts)8. I was always fascinated by (among other things) minerology
When I first saw an etched cross-cut of one of the crystalized iron meteorites, I was blown away by the structure. There have been other crystalized iron meteorites, but the one from Muonionalusta always seemed the most intricate to me.
