The Umbrella Academy Season 3 Begins Filming, Elliot Page Shares First Set Photo

It's true. It's finally happening. The Umbrella Academy star Elliot Page has taken to social media to announce that the third season of Netflix's unconventional superhero show has now begun filming. The actor shared a picture from the set along with the caption, "Omg we're back again," in what is presumably a nod to famous boy band, Backstreet Boys.

Based on Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá's Dark Horse comic book series of the same name, The Umbrella Academy has been a huge hit for the streaming giant, with both seasons receiving rave reviews and high viewing numbers. The bizarre story begins in 1989, with a highly unusual occurrence wherein forty-three infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven of these mysterious babies are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a billionaire industrialist, who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his "children" to save the world.

Unfortunately, not everything goes according to Hargreeves' plan, and the family fractures leading to the disbanding of The Umbrella Academy, before they are brought back together and forced to unite once again to stop the imminent apocalypse.

While there are currently no official plot details for The Umbrella Academy season 3, the final moments of the second season found The Umbrella Academy thrown into an alternate timeline and coming face-to-face with a group of shadowy figures known as The Sparrow Academy. While their identities remained a mystery come the series end, several details have now been revealed giving audiences a better idea of what to expect when season 3 begins.

It's a fun show, but if Klaus and Five weren't on it, I probably wouldn't watch it.

Those two, then 5 (not that I like HIM, but the actor does a great job), then ... everyone else.

What I'm REALLY looking forward to though are Season 4 of Stranger Things and Ozark

Klaus seems like a part any actor loves to play. Five is great.
