2. Remember them? Back in the 1970s

I worked for GTE's phone book publishing company.

3. One year I delivered phone books to get some extra cash.

Heavy work. There were the white pages and the yellow pages, and they'd be bundled together, and we'd have 5 big boxes of them in the car, come back when we'd finished delivering them and pick up another set.

4. I was still getting the local Yellow Pages delivered to my doostep

as recently as ten years ago.

It always went right into the recycler.

I finally figured out how to halt delivery. I wonder if they're even still printing it anymore...

5. I was delivered one just a few days ago

I was thinking, "They still make these things anymore?"

6. No spiders ever survived a direct hit!! And they made great temporary booster seats for toddlers :)
