Dorothy Williams is a handicapped cancer survivor from Hilo, Hawaii.

Dorothy was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1926. At 17, Dorothy Williams started taking tap, acrobatic, ballet and character dancing classes and entered show business as a chorus girl, solo dancer and as a sister team with her sister in various nightclubs. They performed in Chicago full-time after graduation. After seven years, she went to work in a supermarket for 25 years, but continued her performing on weekends. She also became a clown, waitress, taxi driver and had her own dancing school. Williams got married and moved to Hilo, Hawaii. There she became Yummy the Clown for the next 40 years. She also volunteered as Welcome Wagon Lady for 20 years.

Now she is the president of a senior center, where she teaches and performs ukulele, tap, hula and line dancing. She wants to be an inspiration to seniors to keep on doing what makes you and everybody happy, no matter what.
