CBD Delta-8? Anyone tried it?

I used to be a moderately mild cannabis smoker (mostly joints and bongs) several years ago (30). I miss it at LOT and live in an ass-backward state (NC), and COUNTRY, that has yet to totally legalize cannabis (Delta-9). Of course back then it was all illegal but I didn't care.

First off...Delta what the fuck? 8 or 9? Apparently the 2018 Farm Bill made Hemp and pretty much all things Hemp like CBD legal. Then I hear that Delta-8 exists in small amounts in Hemp so voila! Delta-8 dipped Hemp flowers!

Then I read that it is like smoking the oldtimey joints but a milder version. Hell yes! I'm mid-50's now so "mild" is good.

Now I want to order some online. The Delta-8 flowers. It is totally legal...but...is it worth it? I know that a drug test shows it as cannabis.

I would only smoke or vape it. No fucking way am I eating gummy bears.

Has anyone else here tried it? Was it a good thing or shitsville? Is it worth it or is it too new?

1. About a year ago I got some

CBD flowers from Amazon. Looked great but a little too mild. Not super cheap either. I get the high test now and only smoke a couple of puffs in the evening. I think that might be better on my lungs. I’m 71 and smoked my fist joint in 1965. Off and on for all that time. I ran four miles yesterday with my new, 2 months now, pacemaker.

Do you take as much of the Delta-8 as you would regular weed to roll a joint? Is it 1:1? Is it High Test Delta 8?

I'm 53 and smoked my first joint in 1985. On and off until I was 36. And I run short routes like 3 to 5 miles! No pacemaker now fortunately...That's cool though that you knocked of a four miler!

3. My wife got her medical card a few months ago

She skipped right over cbd and went straight to good ol' weed.. she gets good stuff at the dispensary and only does a few hits at night but within the first month she was completely off her leg pills and it's helping in other areas too. As soon as I retire and/or no longer have to worry about pee tests I will be joining her.

Got a shiny new Tommy Chong glass bong ready and waiting.
