Perhaps because I lived in the East Bay, but never in SF or the North Bay.

I only spent a brief time there, but I liked the Bay Bridge better too. I've also heard other people say so.

We try to walk on warm days, as it can get quite windy and cold!
Walking during weekdays can get crowded, with everyone sharing the same side of the bridge.
(Watch out for the bikes!)
