I've started my exercise plan!

Since I don't want to walk, I've gotten a stationary bike. It has a back and side bars as well as bars in front. I got it because we're both elderly, I wanted something I would do and I noticed that during physical therapy i always continued to pedal the bike even after the timer went off, because I got engrossed in the television program).

So I am starting out at 15 minutes twice a day and increasing it 30 minutes twice a day.

Hopefully, this will be a good workout since I am elderly. As soon as my pool opens up, I'll be swimming a couple of times a week also.

I'll let you all know how the bike works out.

Your plan of using a stationary bike, is perfect for any weather. Biking, at home, with swimming added in later on, is excellent. Best wishes to you.

It is also very large, perfect for doing laps. It is at my college so as an alumnae I get a discount! Unfortunately, it has been closed due to Covid but it might open up soon.

log your minutes on a big calendar......try to shoot for at least four days a week - I swear this helps with motivation

also, on days you think to yourself you don't want to do it......dress anyways like you will.......that helps with motivation too

I kinda forget I'm EXERCIZING. I used to love Jazzercise because I could just do the dance moves which i thought were fun.

We have one that's recumbent (which makes it comfier on your tush). I started upping the resistance a few months ago and it made all the difference in my weight-loss program (diet alone wasn't working). Twelve pounds so far.
Mine has a little book stand and I either read a book or from iPad.

It looks just like your Pooboo. Mine was on sale and free delivery, which was great. But I called our handyman to assemble it. He does a lot at our house.
