The only thing that could be better is if the occupants of that car all got injured just badly enough that they'll be human vegetables in a really shitty care home for the next 30-40 years.

Gee, I wonder why you're not supposed to fucking pass when there's a fucking double yellow?

For example, a tire might have blown, or the driver might have had a seizure.

Northwest Arkansas, or perhaps Northeast Oklahoma or Southwest Missouri

driving down a two-lane highway, double-yellow lines. Eighteen-y/o in his dad's Mercedes tries to pass a guy coming out of a curve. I saw him coming at me, so I swerved to the shoulder. He saw me a split-second later, and headed for the same shoulder! All I could do was head for the ditch. He sideswiped my car, wrecked the whole driver's side before I went into the ditch, about 5 feet deep, and rolled onto passenger side. Fortunately I wasn't hurt, and neither were my two nephews who were in the car with me. The kid driving the other car was OK, too--but he wound up not only paying for my damage ($2700), but about $600 in fines too.
