...that my Mr. Potato Head used a real potato that you'd go and get from Mom in the kitchen. Then you'd poke the various facial features, arms, legs, and accessories into the potato.

I think that one passed through the pearly gates long ago.

Sometimes we'd forget what we did with the potato when we were finished playing. They got pretty stinky when they rotted, which might be why the manufacturer started selling the plastic ones - complaints from parents!

Last year, the RW blogosphere was up-in-arms over the supposed cancellation of the cop pup on Paw Patrol. This is not true AFAIK, as there is a feature film in the works and I assume the good dog cop is still a featured character.
