Since when do mosquitoes bite in early March?

I slapped one when it landed on my hand this afternoon.

This is in Maryland, maybe 16 miles northwest of DC.
It's March 10. We could still see some snow in the next 3 weeks.

The world is going nuts.

1. Yes we had them in early November in Central Wi last Fall!

I had never seen them after early October prior.

Glad I haven't seen/heard/felt any in SOUTHERN MD!

DID have a lot of standing water, some's gone now.

Friends live in MoCo, and I'm not going there til things are safer (and movies and restaurants open!) Staying in Calvert now.

And in early November I saw a shitload of mosquitos swarming in the air near the mailbox,and it was a big swarm too.

I went nope,mail ain't that important and turned tail and went back into my apartment fast after seeing that!
