Eating oreos at 1 AM (Late night Ramen edition)

Hello my lovelies. V is having a nice bowl of beef flavored ramen with a turkey sandwich with tea for late night dinner. So good and cheap. But I must say it'll be nice to buy real real food once the stimulus check hits my account. Gonna stock up on 2 weeks worth of food to cook and bake.

So I'm also testing make up now. I think I got eyeliner down. I look like my 15 year old emo self

What's good lovelies?

I'm craving a good bowl of noodles now. A boiled egg and some toasted sesame oil with some green onion garnish. I'm making myself salivate here.

All of my outdoor plants were killed in the big freeze (Texas). I was dreaming I'd able to spend at least a little for some new babies from my stimulus. But, you know how the past year was... if it was bad and could possibly happen it at least made a cameo appearance.

I'm thinking I can possible make some new babies happen, thanks to you and your reminder of my adoration of ramen! I could budget them in, it's doable.

I name my plants, I'm weird like that. Whichever one preforms best from my stimulus purchases is going to be named Ramen in your honor.

You should name one of them Oreo because I don't eat ramen too much I just haven't because I'm budgeting my very little cash I have. But you know it's funny though we had a freeze like everywhere else in Texas and yet our swiss chard is still coming up. It just refuses to die lol

But know this year like I'm planning on building some raised beds at least two big ones so we can grow some more vegetables this year.

Also why do people put boiled eggs in ramen?

If you ever travel to Asia, it's the main protein I saw in ramen. Once you eat it there how it's served, it's forever a pretty memory you'll want to relive whenever you can. It becomes a gentle nostalgia of times past. Soft boiled and silky straight from the street vendor. You apply the toasted sesame oil as a condiment (there's an art there I never managed to glean. I was forever the outsider, sadly.) When prepared correctly it actually is delicious.

On to Swiss chard: Nothing kills that amazing winter veggie! I adore it for always surviving winter. Summer... well, we're speaking of Texas summers. Even Hell takes its hat off and bows down to us during a heatwave. Understandably so.

All my veggies are in raised beds! I love them. Well, I do still grow some tomatoes in row beds, but that's it anymore. My new neighbor is putting in a bunch of raised beds. Problem is he's putting them on a full southern exposure and they're gonna fry come July (we're 8b here). He's so sweet, but when I pointed out how the sun was going to change on the axis they were going to bake he couldn't get what I was saying because it's winter. I expect they'll be some lovely sun loving flower beds next year.

Oreo: I see a black diamond crepe myrtle in your future. It seems fitting in my yard!

That's where I'm going to be going someday hopefully. I know I'm going to load up on just eating a bunch of food lol but I only like eggs when they are fried or scrambled. I'm not a big fan of boiled.

But this year I want to expand to Corn I want to grow corn in the backyard it'd be like one of those creepy people that grow corn lol and I want to try watermelons. I could never get the suckers that grow in the actual ground.

What is a black diamond crepe myrtle lol

It's cheap, tastes good and it's easy to fix and enhance. Perfect late night snack. Add in some egg and some veggies you can have fried rice flavored Ramen.
Put in chicken and some ginger sauce soy and veggies you can have Ramen lo mein.

Put in hamburger meat some leftover spaghetti sauce, and don't use the flavor packet and you got super fast spaghetti.

I like cooking Ramen al dente, and draining off most of the broth before eating it.

I still love Ramen.

I'm diabetic now, Ramen has too many carbs for me.

Replaced the evaporator fan motor.

Going to go back to bed here in a few minutes. It's going to be a house cleaning day today as I'll be getting my wife from the hospital tomorrow.
