sometimes a trend/fad has cultural roots... the Zoot Suit is good example and I applaud people that can use fashion to claim their space or culture or idealism without harm to others... unfortunately, as a society, we often disavow others' ownership of a trend/fad (Zoot Suit Riots)

I meant a joyous laugh of shared exuberance, not one of derision.

I try to thank people for sharing nteresting styles in hair, clothes, etc. even though it wasn't done for me.

There's already enough drab.
