Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI got my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine today.
My appointment was for 9:30 at the drive-thru clinic at the MSU Pavilion but I didn't get my shot until 10:10. The line of cars was massive, but I didn't mind the wait because that shows that a lot of folks in my area are taking getting vaccinated seriously and it wasn't that long of a wait.
I'm feeling okay now, arm not even sore, but it took a couple of days after my first shot for me to start feeling spaced out and "brain foggy" but who cares? Covid would be so much worse.
I hope that everybody will soon be as lucky as I was to get both shots.

(47,037 posts)I got my second shot of Moderna on Saturday and am having brain fog.
I have no idea if my comments here make any sense.
How long did your confusion and disorientation last?

(115,686 posts)the situation where you have to have surgery for a serious health condition, and you know it's going to hurt for awhile afterwards, but that eventually you'll be a lot better. After the first one my arm was sore and I was tired and out of sorts for about a day, and the effects of the second one can be worse, but I don't care. I'm just happy and grateful to be getting it and I'm really glad to see that the pace is picking up so that soon everyone can get them.

(34,382 posts)I had my first shot on February 23. I was really happy to see it. They had the same setup as last time so I know there were a lot more people taking advantage of the vaccine clinic today.

(17,622 posts)..shot has about 2/3 of the liquid as a flu shot. I told my 'person' that it was the most painless jab I had ever had ( and I'm a HUGE shot baby).

Last week we even ventured out to a restaurant! Of course at 3 in the afternoon it was totally empty, but still...it SURE FELT GOOD!

efficient as anything and I see desatan is taking credit for how well it's going.
my only concern. Why don't they hand out a leaflet telling us what or might not develop as side effects? Every script I get has a heads up page and I think one should be provided.
