It's not cold enough for it to collect on the ground but it keeps coming down. We can
always use the moisture. It's not even collecting on our car much yet. That may change
as it gets colder tonight.
Old Guy says: I remember that on the First of April in 1996 it had been warm enough
in Upper Michigan for the large snow piles to start melting off and then there was a
blizzard! Of course people up there are disappointed if there isn't ever an accumulated
winter snowfall of 20 feet... And of course I had to walk to school and home again uphill both ways!

(9,214 posts)It was my freshman year in college. We couldnt get to classes (they were canceled) but we could by God get to grocery stores and bars, buy kegs, and get them back to the dorms.
The snow was on Sunday-Monday, and it was all gone by Thursday.

(25,914 posts)It is snowing, and has been for a while now. At least since the last time I looked some 90 minutes ago.
I do love snow. I have lived in several parts of the country, northern NY State, Minnesota, Colorado, places that get lots of snow, and so I appreciate it.
Here in Santa Fe the temperature is officially 31 degrees, barely cold enough to keep the snow. Which means this won't last, but tomorrow the Sangre de Cristo mountains will be beautiful. I love to say that I have a million dollar view of those mountains from my back yard, and trust me, I do not own a million dollar home.
