The time probably has come and gone for Covid Craft Shows.

When I think how we were all in isolation for a year, it occurred to me that someone should have put up a challenge to the crafters and artists out there. Flyers should have been printed promising a Showing date, where artists and crafters would be able to display the incredible work they did during Covid. And I'm thinking of the things you rarely see.

For example, I would love to see a Burl Show. Natural "art" has always intrigued me. But Natural art in the hands of a wood specialist is just amazing. Someday I hope to own a bust of a horse, made in burl. But, before that, I would love to see a burl expose.

And there were so many other possible applications.

I think it was a missed opportunity.

Traveling is still deemed unsafe and being in an enclosed space with a bunch of people is also unsafe so this could still be done, if you have the energy. Wish I was crafty, I'd contribute.
