(5,944 posts)2. How lovely! Why, it puts me in mind of a poem (or two):
I never saw a Purple Cow,
I never hope to see one;
But I can tell you, anyhow,
I'd rather see than be one.
- Gelett Burgess
I never saw a Purple Cow,
I never hope to see one;
But from the milk we're getting now
There certainly must be one.

Grandpa dropped his glasses once
In a pot of dye,
And when he put them on again
He saw a purple sky.
Purple fires were rising up
From a purple hill,
Men were grinding purple cider
At a purple mill.
Purple Adeline was playing
With a purple doll;
Little purple dragon flies
Were crawling up the wall.
And at the supper-table
He got crazy as a loon
From eating purple apple dumplings
With a purple spoon.

As a aging Buddhist, I'm thinking a heavy dose of moose wisdom might be helpful now.
Thanks!

(12,480 posts)5. Are they Baltimore Ravens fans
Takes purple fridays to a whole nother level. Lol..
When the Ravens won the super all in 2000 Baltimore lit up the streets in purple. I lived in Virginia than and we drove all the way to Baltimore to see it lit up. It was beautiful. Gladly I live in Maryland the state I was born in and grew up in.
The purple island is too cool.
