2. This show always makes me feel better

I think it's equal parts the people, the host, the history, the culture, and of course the food. Tonight really focused on the tragedy and benefits of immigration. Was nice to hear about the compassion of the Sicilian people, and that while the Mafia grip on Sicily hasn't been eliminated, it has at least been broken.

My favorite of the series so far was the show on Tuscany, although I liked the Milan show's feature on Italian alps cuisine, especially the segment on why the cheese there is so distinctive (and expensive).
