Been doing my dishwater brown hair red most of my life...finally taking the plunge to go light and then let the gray fade easily into it...
Im thinking maybe some color streak "lowlites" like pastel/mermaid colors...
wish me luck!

(17,285 posts)From experience when you do a light blond it can get brassy and worth using a purple shampoo just for that and it really makes a difference 💕
FirstLight
(13,360 posts)...and since I am trying to take out RED pigment (the worst) it's definitely going brassy first
Grrrrr.... but I am determined!

(13,360 posts)my hair is too thick & long... need them to do it for me...I tried the bleach bath method and it came up a few levels, but the roots are hot and the ends not even light enough...even though I did the roots last (but that is less pigmewnt cuz of coloring my hair for years)
So...tomorrow round #2!! Not gonna stop till it's done!
