But there's a point in the first video when mom looks out the window as if thinking, "if only I'd known where it would lead when I met their father."

She wisely lets them wear themselves out so she can get some rest.

Back in December, my Mom was asking where I was going to put the Christmas tree in my new house. I just laughed. Then laughed some more. Then sent her YouTube videos of cats and xmas trees. She had no idea.

so she doesn't nibble the flowers.

She loves to knock things to the floor, but so far, does not do it to flower vases.

It’s been ages since I’ve had a kitten. Maybe it’s time?

Or, like us end up with the one that isn't adoptable.

We named the kitten Elliot (Ness) because he was "Untouchable" Then we found out Elliot was a female and renamed her Ellie. 2 years and she still won't let us touch her, but at least she isn't running away from us in abject panic any more. She is madly in love with one of our older cats and she snuggles up to him a lot .

My cats, both seniors, would likely disown me. I think they could handle a single, though.
(Or maybe two, max.)

Here's the entire Mom Cat Saga from the beginning (linked via Laughing Squid). Highest recommendation!! Beware onion-cutting ninjas.

Mom Cat still lives with her benefactor (and all his other cats), and was recently the subject of a new video about her bum leg. As you can see, she's well-fed and happy.
