TV channels at the time, in the middle of the Ozarks, she and I would sit down and watch the TV when I was there visiting as a kid, playing cards (we loved it). Her favorite show(s) among others was Hee Haw, w/ Grandpa Jones, Stringbean (who have actually stayed at our house (my Mom's side of the family, The Delmore brothers))...I have to laugh, one of the reasons Hee Haw got canceled was that it was too rural...they got that right!
