My stepmom, who took me cause my dad, who was SUPPOSED to ... had to work.

Afterwards she told me her favorite part was Gene Simmons' tongue. I don't think I got her joke at that time ...

Yes, I did attend a few low-key musical events prior to this or smaller concerts with a family member, but this was the first big one--on my own.

Before you join in with the social media crowd and let everyone know about the first concert you attended, you might think twice — hackers would love to have this information.

This week, one of the most popular Facebook memes had people asking friends to figure out which of 10 concerts they didn’t really attend, and they’ve often been accompanied by a note about the first concert they ever saw.

This is a common security question, along with the name of the street you grew up on and your first job — and it’s the sort of information that hackers can use to break into your online ID.

“I typically advise people not to answer those questions. It’s not worth it,” says Tom Gorup, director of security operations for Rook Security in Indianapolis.

Actually, not with this conductor -- this photo is from the first concert in 1955 w/Dr. Arthur Fraser conducting. I would have seen Russel Gerhardt or Marx Pales with the baton.

I believe there were around 53,000 people there. Tickets were $5.50 (I still have my stub) and I heard the Beatles take from that show was $93,000. I don't know if that was in Canadian or U.S. dollars.

Later came Earth Wind and Fire, Rick Wakeman, Jethro Tull, and Gallager with his watermelons, though I'm not sure that's considered a "concert".

And here is who did the only other concert I attended:

I enjoyed that last one much better than the first - no screaming idiots. I couldn't hear a single song by Herman & the Hermits.
