Couldnt sleep, channel switching to a Christain channel

No offense to any Christian, this is probably the first Christian Movie, I have seen, are they all like this??

Couldn't sleep, so was channel flicking at a hotel. Came across a movie on the Hope Channel. (A Christian channel)

A Drama

Movie premise, sales man loses Job, and family might get evicted from their home.

Wife says to Husband, "This is horrible, we are going to be evicted from our house"
Husband "Well at least we didnt get evicted from the garden of Eden like Adam and Eve"

Wife "We are going to lose our home"
Husband "It's God's Home"

Family goes to stays with sister, Dinner table scene....

"Where is he"? (Talking about a kid)

"Oh hes out having fun, hes saying his Prays"

Other little kids ask parents, if they eat their vegetables and do their chores can they also say their prays.

Man who lost his job is talking to his friend, who has a bumper sticker on his car that says "Socialism is when you spend other
peoples money"

Kid hurts himself rock climbing and is rushed to hospital, doctor comes in and tells family he has operated and
the kid will be okay, Dad looks up and says "Thank you God, for saving our baby"

The acting was what you expected.

Not sure who the targeted audience was? Christian kids??? Christian adults???

1. Very typical..

- Surgeon had nothing to do with the survival of the child; and

- Other children who die in surgery are doomed by their parents unbelief. What kind of a god would kill a child as a penalty for the parents screwups? Answer: the one in the Bible.

5. There's a Xian movie where, truly, the moral of the story is that you should love your rapist and...

have a genuine interpersonal relationship with them, so...

I'm gonna say that the target audience for Xian films is idiots, assholes, and idiotic assholes.

6. I hope that God paid the hospital bill because if Daddy is out of work and lost his home,

I doubt that he has health insurance and we wouldn't want any socialism paying his bill.

7. As a proud Christian atheist (don't ask) I find this propaganda repellent...

as I find all propanda repellent. I don't know if this stuff brings new converts into the fold, but it does remind and reinforce the flock's reasons for being there.
