In a small Kansas town, 130 years ago, some of the local men think they are playing a mean practical joke on a woman named Susanna Salter and nominate her in the mayoralty race.
She ruins their plans by garnering 60% of the vote.
Don't you love blowback? It usually ends up ruining the very people that desperately need it.
