(2,244 posts)I also have the adjustable platform. Very happy with it, would definitely buy again but I won't need to, this will last forever.

(415 posts)I thought the nectar was the best for me.
They're all a bit different, but SO much better than a regular mattress.

(82,849 posts)As I've (ahem) aged, I find that the mattress keeps me warmer and I like the way my body sinks into it. I can see how that wouldn't work for others. But if I have the occasional bad night of sleep, it's usually because my brain won't shut down not because I can't get comfortable.

(10,200 posts)a few months before she passed away. It smelled ghastly from off-gassing, and she had to leave it out on her balcony for a month to air out the odor sufficiently to bring it in the house. She did think it was comfortable, though.
We have an all organic latex bed. It wasn't cheap (though we did get it via internet for several grand less than the local store wanted), and it does get hot, but it doesn't hold dents from where you were lying on it. It is assembled in layers, and the layers can be customized for desired soft/firmness. As far as I can see, you never have to actually replace the bed itself - you just get replacement layers as needed. So far we have had ours for almost 7 years and though we have flipped the layers around on a regular basis, we haven't had to replace any yet. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Before we got it, I looked forward to business travel at properties known for their excellent beds. Now, there hasn't been a hotel bed I've preferred to my own latex bed. FWIW, YMMV.
