'We found a baby on the subway - now he's our son

Danny Stewart was rushing to meet his boyfriend for dinner when he ran past something lying on the floor of a New York subway station. Soon he would treasure it more than anything else in the world.

It was around eight o'clock on 28 August 2000, just past the frenzy of the New York rush hour when a subway train rattled down the track into 14th Street station, in the Chelsea district of Manhattan. Danny Stewart, 34, was late for dinner with his partner, Pete Mercurio, 32.

The couple had met three years earlier through a friend in Pete's softball team. Later Danny had moved in with Pete and his flatmate, but on this summer evening he had been back to his sublet apartment in Harlem to pick up the post.

As Danny was hurrying out of the station something caught his eye.

.....an abandoned baby......basically a "throw away" child.......unwanted and unloved was found by a gay man who, along with his husband, legally adopted the baby who is now a 20 year old college student studying mathematics & computer science.......obviously a very intelligent young man.....the bottom line is that all 3 people involved in this wonderful story have had their lives enriched and happy......may all 3 of them continue their amazing journey through this life filled with love and joy and peace......

Of soul values and what it takes to develop the soul so it can return to its home. Jesus contradicted faith alone. These men, gays, have the soul values of generosity and care. Compared to a heterosexual who cares most about money, football and beer, and who goes to church every week, these men here are the ones with souls that are in better shape. Sexual preference has nothing to do with Christian, soul, values.

Much less skin color. There are 2 people in my village who've used the N word in my presence. I haven't spoken to them since. To them, skin, not soul, has importance. You can't be that intolerant unless your soul is the size of a flea, and there's no point in my cultivating fleas.

The New Testament says God is light, so are we, and we must radiate goodness. That's really not that hard to understand!!!
