3. Looks very much like the kitten that "chose" me.

Showed up on my back porch. I figured she was a neighbor's cat, and left her alone.

Next day, she was there again. And the day after that, still out there. It didn't look like she was leaving my porch at all. Every time I looked, she was out there.

On the third day, I fed her. That evening, she was still there, so I let her in the house.

She stayed with me for 20 years.
