Jelly Belly jellybeans

Mom did a curbside order last week and they were out of stock on her beloved Brach’s spiced jelly beans. They substituted in Jelly Bellies, which she does not like, so she gave them to me when I was over at her house for Easter.

Yum!!

I just got in to the bag a few minutes ago. I hadn’t had them in years and had forgotten how dang tasty they are! It’s also fun trying to guess the flavors.

The buttered popcorn is still freaky.
The juicy pear is still bangin’
There is a tangerine (?) one that is super yum.
And there are some new sour flavors (meh).
The coffee (latte?) one is cool and surprised me after all the fruity ones

Overall, a very nice treat!

1. Some of my grandkids got some Jelly Belly beans in nasty flavors

Intentionally nasty. They had a grand time daring each other to try the suspicious looking ones and ‘tricking’ me into eating them.

Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans, they were called in the books, iirc.
I’ve heard of them but have never tried them.

4. The juicy pear flavor tastes more like pears than pears do.

My favorite Jelly Belly flavor.

Followed closely by pomegranate, tangerine, and pink grapefruit.

I love the spiced jelly beans and gum drops around the holidays. I also love the clove sticks at Cracker Barrel

8. My favorite jelly beans are Russel Stover.

They have normal flavors and just enough of a shell. I think Brachs are a little too crunchy.

10. I bought my hubby some beer flavored Jelly Belly beans

They were actually pretty good! I can’t stand root beer or licorice, but the kids will pick those out for me .

like Pina Colada, Cosmopolitan, etc. I've been buying those lately. My wife likes the Sours mix.

The buttered Popcorn has always been a favorite, too.

and I'm a happy camper. All the other flavors are amusing, but don't hold my interest long. Well, their orange jelly beans are pretty damn good, too.

FWIW, Jelly Belly has a history of being movers and shakers in the Republican party. Or should I say had, because I have no idea where they stood with the Tea Party, or all that orange anus shit.
